    • I guess it wouldn’t be in the spirit of Christmas to say I want to knit these for myself! 🙂 They are beautiful colors. My sister will only wear the mittens I knit her 6 years ago and they are wearing a little thin. This would make a great replacement set. And an extra special treat since she quit smoking this year!

    • I would love these for myself as well. I would also love to knit them for my niece, who has been begging for something knitted from me

    • It’s not terribly in the Xmas spirit, but I’d knit them for myself. The rest of my family lives in warmer places, and my friends locally tend to be A, guys who wouldn’t wear mitts with a floral motif, or B, other knitters who make their own knitwear.

    • The colors in this kit are AWESOME! These are the beach colors my daughter-in-law loves, and she would be the lucky recipient. Who wouldn’t want to wear these and dream of a warm, peaceful beach in January! Woo hoo!

    • The first time I saw these mittens posted I knew they were meant for me – I have coveted these many nights in my dreams I have wondered how I could possibly convince you into turning these beauties over to me…. well if I had the chance to make them – you could still keep yours!

    • I fell in love with these mittens the first time I saw them–and I think it’s not only because of the design, but the color combination is gorgeous! I would love to make these for me, but will hold my anxiety and would knit them as a present to my granddaughter instead.

    • I would make them for my daughter or myself – depends on what they look like when I’m done with them! I usually start an item & by the time I’m finished with it, it tells me who it belongs to – and that’s usually NOT me!

    • Is it wrong to want these for myself? 😉 I would say one of my daughters but neither of them like mittens…interferes with their texting I guess.

    • Who, besides myself would I knit these for? Probably my sister-in-law, she lives in mitten country, Fargo, and as a teacher she’s out on the schoolyard a lot. Plus, she help mmy in-laws out thru the week. Avery busy lady who needs a “brightener” for those LONG No. Dakota winters

    • I think I’d make these for my sister (if I don’t keep them myself). She needs a new pair – the ones I made 6 years ago have been worn bare.

    • I would love to make these mittens for myself! Selfish, I know, but these mittens they’re too pretty to give away. I know once they’re completed, I’ll have to fight the urge to keep them, so why argue? 🙂

    • I would totally knit these for my co-worker, she’s the biggest Orla Kiely fan. She’s the most kind-hearted saint and always doing for others so I’d love to surprise her with these which I know she’d absolutely adore.

    • What a beautiful pattern! And beautiful yarn. I’d make them for my niece in Iowa. And then I’d make another pair for myself!

    • I love the colours of this yarn. My daughter is teaching in a country that has a cold winter and I would love to make these for her.

    • So cute, Kat! Living in coastal CA, I don’t have much need for mittens. I’d make them for a good friend who lives in Boulder. She needs them!

    • I would make these for my daughter. I loved this pattern when you posted it. It would be a joy to knit it up in the yarn you used. Thank you for the chance.

    • I would knit these for my twin sister…and in these, her favorite colors. What a beautiful pattern…thank you so much for sharing.

    • Deepa
    • My knitting friend Rebecca who loves making mittens. We are already doing a hat exchange (Sheep Heid) so I’d then ask her to make a pair for me. We might even enter them competitively in the MN state fair. 🙂 (we’ve both won ribbons in the past and enter every year)

    • I would love to make these mittens my mom, sister and sister-in-law! But..I must make the first pair for myself as a test pair 😉 so when I make the other mittens they will be perfect.

    • I will knit these mittens for my sweet but hard to buy for Sister in Law Karin. She has fantastic taste and always looks so put together. It will be fun to add a touch or warm whimsy to her winter attire.
