Iron Craft 2015!

We are wrapping up another fun year of Iron Craft and thinking ahead to next year. This will be the fifth year of Iron Craft Challenges and we invite you to become an Iron Crafter.

What is Iron Craft? Iron Craft is a biweekly craft challenge meant to inspired you to take the time to create something. The challenges are not competitive, we are here to encourage each other in our crafting pursuits.

How does it work? Every other Wednesday we post a new challenge. Challenges maybe themes, colors, materials and so on. You then have 13 days to create a project based on that challenge. Every other Tuesday we share our finished project on our Flickr group.

Are there rules? The rules are pretty basic. The project should be related to the challenge. We try to make the challenges broad enough that crafters can be inventive with them, but if we ask you to sew something and you make cookies that doesn’t work. Please don’t share your completed project until the posted reveal date.

Do I have to do all 26 challenges? Of course not. We realize people have lives outside of crafting (horrors!). We encourage you to do as many as you can, but we will never kick anyone out of the group for missing some.

How do I join? Join the Flickr group (it is free and easy to use). Then watch for the first challenge on Wednesday, January 7th.

    • Hi guys, we had a complicated year with three deaths in our family. I still kept on knitting but didn’t do any other crafting. I’m hoping to rejoin you this year.
      I wish everyone a great 2015. 🙂
