The alternate title for this could be, “that is what I get for waiting until the last minute.” I had an idea for this Iron Craft challenge. I had all the supplies for this challenge. Still, I waited until the afternoon before it was due to start it. Then this happened at 1:00 that afternoon.
I tripped over my own asleep foot and broke a bone in it. So instead of sitting at the sewing machine I sat waiting for x-rays and then with my foot up and iced, sigh. I still may try to do the challenge a little late, not sure it I can run my sewing machine with my left foot. That sounds weird, but I always control it with my right, it’s funny how we get used to something like that. I’ll have to do some experimenting.

That is not a good look for you. Wishing you a speedy recovery. So sorry that you are hurting. Best wishes–russ
Oh no! Hope it heals quickly and that you can enjoy putting your feet up in the meantime.
Best of luck for a speedy recovery! I can only sew with my right foot, too, and it has to be without my shoe. Socks are O.K.
oh no! I understand; when I broke my ankle last year I was totally crafting-challenged. I hope it gets better faster than expected!
Oh no! 🙁
I hope you recover quickly!
Oh, so sad about this, Kat! I’m glad that you didn’t hurt or break anything else. I see from the next post that a little ole broken foot didn’t stop you at all. Heal fast!
