This week we were workin’ for Heidi.
I went out on a limb and designed some avant garde workout wear. At first I thought I was making something so exaggerated that it would just be outlandish. But in the end, I really like the look. Let’s see what the judges think!
The look is black stretch pants (yawn) finished front and back.
And a wild trapeze top.
Stretch in front. And I brought the mesh in for the back.
There is a bra top, because the whole back is open. (I liked the way the selvedge edge hemmed itself!)
I think the movement on the runway is dynamic!
Nina said it was editorial.
And in the retail ready runway last week, the judges LOVED this look. No one had seen it in the stores, and they appreciated that I took a huge risk.
