PPR Challenge 4: House of Cornish

This week’s challenge was to use a bow tie somewhere in your garment.
I went to Community Thrift, and did not find a bow tie, but I did find this beauty!

Look at the pinks! Delicious.

And here is my creation

It is all hand done, again. I am getting better at my one of a kind, hand sewn looks.

It has good movement.

There is a little slit in the back for kicking, and practical things like walking.
The real work in the gown are the pleats and darts in the side.

I tried to reflect the ribbons in the fabric, and make some darts to accentuate the shape, and the ribbons flowing through the print.
It’s a strong look. I feel confident defending it on the runway. When Tim goes down for the close up look with my model, the judges will see the workmanship and they will be pleased.
