PPR Finale: House of Cornish

For my final collection, I did two looks.vBoth were inspired by the fabric.

First:Midweight Fuchsia & Metallic Bronze Chenille Cotton Blend. That just rolls off the tongue. I saw a swatch at Britex Fabrics and I just said “that’s it”!

I made a pair of pants, and gave them an acid citrus waistband.

The top is sheer with embroidered detail, and wonderful angel sleeves.

My second look is more sportswear.

It was inspired by the fabric as well. It is Italian ivory cotton dot.
And here is the trick. I used the fabric wrong side out. It still shows the dot, but it added a stripe element.

I did some “fancy” pleating on the front, to accentuate the stripes.

If it were time to show three looks to the judges, I would send these down the runway.
I am happy with my looks. I would LOVE to get these pink pants. This fabric is divine. It is velvet, chenille, metallic background (without being “glitter”) . They would be such a neat holiday piece.

Happy Fashion Week.

Thanks for watching us for YET another season!
