Setting the Halloween Table

Halloween is right around the corner and I like to set a festive table for the holidays. Ok, for Halloween maybe a little more spooky than festive.

I use the bottle and jars I decorated with water decals in an arrangement along with candles in the center of the table.

I fill the jars with things around the house, water colored with food coloring (add a few drops of milk a “thicker” look), spaghetti in colored water, rice as magots and sesame seeds to name a few.
#300 - Halloween Napkins
Rather than buying Halloween napkins, I use these which were a snap to make. I bought white bandanas at the craft store for almost nothing. Then I printed some sayings that made me think of Halloween on printer capable iron-on-transfer paper. Make sure to print the saying backwards, like you’re looking in a mirror, so that they print the correct way on the napkins. I wish the iron-on didn’t show up as much on the fabric, but for one night they are fun.
Candy Bowl
Of course, I made a special bowl for the candy treats.

Are you doing anything special to decorate your table for Halloween or will you be too musy out trick or treating?
