Yes, it is almost a sock! I decided not to do the last 16 rows at CWS last night because well it’s shaping & I’m changing the pattern from flat to in the round & figured it was best to do when I wasn’t drinking a mojito.
Instead I started on the robot doll. Mine will be much smaller than the ones in the book because I am using smaller yarn. Also I’m not doing the color blocks because I want it to look like one of the robots in Diesel Sweeties. Jess Hutchison who designed it came out & knit with the Chicks last night. It was really cool to be able to talk to her about her patterns & such.
Now I’m trying to decide which projects to take home with me over the holidays…luckily most of my current ones are small & easily portable.
