PPR Challenge #9 House Of Cornish

This week we teamed up with American Girl and the challenge was to make an updated girl’s outfit.
(I will tell you, I am hip-deep in doll clothing at work and at home, but I did not make it to the runway in reality TV show terms this week. Alas. I am super happy with what I have, so I did not want to just shove something out on the runway. I have learned that I am no Kini in terms of my speed.)
For this week, I attempted to design something for my own in-house model.

This is a combination of a couple of tried and true styles that my daughter seeks out. Butterflies will always be a hit. Cotton knit for comfort, and ruffles for the “twirl” factor.
Plus little shorts to go under.

I think I will have a winner here. Maybe not a “runway” winner, but if she picks it out, puts it on, and goes to school in it one day, then I will be victorious.

I will share updates with you.

    • That is darling and I’ll bet she’ll wear it a bunch. (I didn’t make it to the Runway this week either, and I don’t have anything nearly as cute as an excuse…)
