DIY Inspiration – Peter Pan Collared Tee

I was at the Mall of America last week and really fell in love with all the different shirts with contrasting peter pan collars. My favorite was this one at H&M.

The one in store was slightly different in that the collar had pearls and beads all over it, but basically, it is a black t-shirt with a peter pan collar attached. Of course, H&M rarely has anything I like in my size, so this one is going to send me to the sewing machine.

I haven’t decided yet how I’m going to do the collar. I may sew on from scratch or find a shirt at the thrift shop with a collar I can use. The other thought is to make the collar fake and applique one on the shirt. I think it is going to be such a great way to dress up a Target t-shirt.
