It’s -13 outside and I’m dreaming of warm evenings on the patio lit by fairy lights…

These cupcake liner lights by Caitlin Wilson Design are really cute and look easy to make. They would be fun for a birthday party.

Fimo clay is used to make flowers with a fairy light center on this version by Funkytime. I love that she did them in white, very elegant.

These shell lights from Martha Stewart bring a bit of the seashore to the backyard.

These origami lights from Instructables are like tiny Asian lanterns. You could have fun with lots of different papers.

    • I think the flower lights would be even more awesome with a bit of glow in the dark clay added. It allow you to more easily see your way out of a room after you’ve turned the lights off, a definitely issue in our old house.
