Swedish Folk Art at the Nordiska Museet

Tuesday we headed over to the Nordiska Museet, a must for any fan of Scandinavian design with everything from furniture to clothing to table settings. I was particularly interested in both the folk art and fashion exhibits. Here are a few things that caught my eye…
Swedish Folk Art Knit socks
Swedish Folk Art Swedish Folk Art
Modern Swedish folk art Sami hats
There was also a textile room with drawers and drawers of knitting, needlework and sewing.
In the textile room
I was very attracted to a book of Swedish needlework designs in the bookstore but at $60 I decided I should keep looking!
