moving right along

this sweater just seems to be going faster than any i’ve made before which seems odd to me as i’m making up the pattern as i go along. well, i have to say its certainly satisfying to have it come together so fast as matt’s huge blanket continues to loom over me.
robot sweater with sleeve
i decided not to do an elbow patch as we really couldn’t figure out last night exactly where it should be especially with the dropped sholder. i think the stripe looks nice though as another place to bring in the orange color that is in the robot’s face. tonight sleeve two!

    • Very cute. I’m all for leaving elbow patches off as I make my son’s sweaters big enough for him to wear for two years. That means the elbow patch looks silly until the last month that he wears it, which is the only time the sweater fits right!
