      • I always soak my mittens just to get them really saturated and let the wool bloom before blocking. They don’t soak long just a few minutes. If I’m worried about any color bleed, I’ll add a little white vinegar to the water to set the dyes. (This really helped with red and white advent calendar mittens.)
