Iron Craft ’16 Challenge #2 – Too Hot Coffee Sleeve

For this Iron Craft challenge we were asked to make something that featured with hearts or flowers. I came up with a cheeky little knit coffee sleeve inspired by conversation hearts.

This is a fun quick little knit. You can have the heart say anything you want, my husband suggested Hot Stuff, but I thought Too Hot seemed appropriate and fit in the heart perfectly.

Supplies:

  • 46.5yds10/g fingering weight yarn, I used 28yds/6g Knit Picks Palette Black and 18.5yds/4g Knit Picks Palette Cotton Candy
  • four size 1 double-pointed needles (or size needed to get gauge)
  • stitch marker
  • tapestry needle

Gauge: 10 stitches and 12 rows per inch
