Susi is off to the UK for the holidays, so I’m filling in on QOTD…
Someday when I have my dream modern flat in Amsterdam, clean, modern quilts like this will cover the beds.
This quilt is called Stormy Seas and it is by Blooming Poppies. She feels it is a little stark, but I’m attracted to how those bright colors pop on the white. While this quilt might be simple in design, it certainly isn’t when it came to the quilting. I can’t imagine the time that took!
I love the way the back echoes the front and is beautiful in itself. I’d be happy to take it off her hands if she’s not happy with it 😉
