Iron Crafter Feature – Rae

What is your name?

Rae

Where do you live?

Tacoma, WA

What kind of crafts do you do?

I dabble in a lot of different things. Favorites are knitting, sewing, embroidering, and paper crafts. I can’t figure out crochet to save my life.

Where do you get your inspiration?

Words inspire me a lot- I love taking ideas from song lyrics and making them into something. Blogs provide great inspiration, too, but my favorite place to be inspired is by the endless creativity from my four year old son.

What new crafts or techniques would you like to learn?

Someday I’ll learn to crochet. Amigurimi tempts me too much. On my 30 before 30 list for this year is to learn to use a serger and do more with knits, and I love learning more about pastry and baking techniques.

Do you have a blog and/or Esty store? If so, where can we find them?

I blog at Two Hands and my husband and I are working on an Etsy shop for later this year.

Anything else you’d like to tell us about yourself?

I’m the mother of two boys and a former rollergirl.

    • Those costumes are terrific!

I visited your blog and must throw down the gauntlet challenging your hubbby's designation as WBH. I was positive that title was reserved for mine. LOL! We are very fortunate women.
