#266 – Amsterdam Socks

Amsterdam Socks
We’re headed up North to a cabin this weekend which means I need a good portable knitting project to take along. I decided to start a pair of socks with the yarn I picked up at the farmers market in Amsterdam. The bamboo/wool yarn is actually made in Germany but I still call these my Amsterdam socks. I like how the striping is turning out with the little bit I had done so far. I wanted to try a pair of toe up socks but though that would be better for a time when I could really concentrate on what I was doing instead of talking to other people or riding in the car.

Handmade 365 2010- My goal is to spend time everyday working on something handmade for a year & photograph it.
