#152 – My Sister’s Quilt Progress

#152 - My Sister's Quilt Progress
Spend a little time this afternoon working on piecing my sister’s quilt together (in between doing laundry & making beet gelato). Right now the quilt top is about 1/3rd done. I’m rethinking the fabric I got for the backing. I like the pattern but after a washing the fabric doesn’t feel good at all, a bit stiff & plastic-like. I’m hoping to maybe find a sheet I like for it since That won’t require cutting & sewing it together to be big enough.

Handmade 365 2010- My goal is to spend time everyday working on something handmade for a year & photograph it.

    • Love that quilt. My friend would love those colors. I am sewing her a purse of black, red and white. Cant wait to see the finished project.
