These were my first real try with colorwork. They were finally dry after blocking & I wore them for the first time today. Temps were way below zero & they kept me super warm.
I really like the detail up the sides & the way the pattern continues on the thumb. I had to make them longer than the pattern called for for my long hands so the decreases ended up being different colors instead of all red.

am glad your first attempt turned out so well. People do not realise that "coloourwork" is so much warmer…and easier to do than it looks.
