sick day

I took a sick day yesterday to get over what had turned into a 2 day headaches. It ended up being a productive knitting day. I knit up a larger bowl for felting along with the small one.
felted bowls prefelting
The photo is not good as the darker yarn is actually brown not purple. Then I felted them both (once again in the apartment machines.)

I like the shape but they both need to go for a second felting (I ran out of quarters). They dried really nicely over some plastic bowls i had & think they will be perfect after one more cycle.

I also finished the wrist warmers I started from Last Minute Gifts & am 3/4 through a second pair. And I knit up two Cashmerino Mary Jane Slippers to use as demonstration models at the class at Noe Knit on Sunday. The class is sold out so I’ll be teaching to ten people…hope I do ok. Imagine what I could get done if I never had to go to work?!

Thanks everyone for the good words & advice about the shoes. I was just so frustrated!
