Dropping stitches on purpose

Work continues on my Clapotis for the Noe Knit AlongI’ve finally reached the rows where I can start dropping stitches.
clapotis in progress
Overall I’m pretty happy with is & it will look beautiful with my wedding dress I just wish this bamboo yarn didn’t separate so much. Maybe I’m just being too picky.
clapotis first two drops
I need to start on the blanket for my upcoming nephew but decided I want to knit it in one piece including the edge so now I’m waiting from some Crayon in Yellow. Originally I had planned to make 12 x 12 squares & piece them together with a decorative whipstitch & then add the edging but now that I’ve finally figured out intarsia I think I’ll for it in one piece. Wish me luck!
