Clapotis

Clapotis

So, I’ve gotten on the Clapotis wagon (a little late i guess). Noe Knit is doing it as a knit along & I though it would be nice to make for the wedding. The bamboo yarn is gorgeous! I worked on it for about an hour & a half last night & got to the thrid increase set…not to bad i think.

I have to laugh at myself though…just what I needed was another project! Here’s what my list looks like..

1. Clapotis – just started
2. Baby dress (baby was born yesterday!) – back & most of front done. have to do sleeves and finishing.
3. Favorite tee sweater – body is done almost to armhole shaping
4. Dolly for bosses daughter – body is done & one arm.
5. Kimono & baby bootie set – just have to sew last bootie together
6. Wedding present blanket for Matt – He picked out some beautiful Inca Cotton and a pattern from Jo Sharp Home.
7. Baby blanket for new nephew – Yarn is coming from Knit Picks & I have drawn out the pattern.

Ok, seeing it all written out like this is a little sad….I’m going to have to hide the Caloptis from myself this weekend & finish the baby projects…you know how it is the newest yarn & porject is always the most tempting.
