Iron Craft ’14 Challenge #9 – Inspired by Art

Challenge #9 is one we have done in the past for Project Project Runway, but I don’t think we have ever done it for Iron Craft. This week we want you to find your inspiration in a piece of art. Your project does not need to be an exact copy of that art, but the art should be a jumping off point for what you create. Make sure to show us the art that inspired you!

Here are a few ideas (click on any image to be taken to the original source). There are more ideas on our Pinterest board.

#124 - Art in Bloom
Every spring in Minneapolis the Institute of Art invites people to create floral arrangements inspired by the art throughout the museum. (By the way, if you have never gone to Art in Bloom at the MIA it is really worth the visit and free. It is coming up the first weekend in May.)

    • I was so excited when I saw this challenge, because I just got back from Paris! So much arty inspiration! Now to use that inspiration in two days…
