Wee Winter Woolens KAL: Wee Earflap Beanie

I knew I wanted to have some sort of earflap hat as part of this KAL, just because they are so cute. I had made a version before as part of my tiny toques, but I was never completely happy with how it looked. It took a few trials, but I think I finally came up with a version that I like.

I didn’t only want it to look cute, but I wanted something that wouldn’t require a bunch of extra seaming to put together. This version is made by knitting the earflaps separately and then joining them together to knit in the round for the rest of the hat. I think it has a great shape even when flat.

Download the Wee Earflap Beanie Pattern or if you have purchased it on Ravelry look for an update.
