State Fair Hopes

Yesterday was the first day to drop off entries for the Creative Activities competitions at the MN State Fair.
8/10 State Fair Hopes
I’ve never seen a line as long as it was this year. There seemed to be the same amount of volunteers checking people in, so maybe more people are entering this year or everyone decided to come on Sunday. I saw a lot of quilts and granny square afghans in line. Wonder what my mitten category will be like?! Now I wait until the 21st to find out if I earned a ribbon.

    • At our NYState Fair, the quilt and or other crafts were kind of few and far between. Not nearly as much as I thought there would be.

I havent stopped by in so long…

      • Hi Lori! I’m interested to hear if today and tomorrow are as busy with people dropping things off. Could be a big year at our fair. People think it was because there was a long cold winter to make things.
