I love this Nelson Ball Clock from Design Within Reach, but at $375 I’m wondering if I can DIY it. I’m thinking wooden balls, dowels, a clock kit and some paint.

I LOVE this crochet snowflake hexagon from Art of Tangle. Such a fun take on the granny square.

Speaking of granny squares, I love how Muita Ihania took basic granny square solid color granny squares and laid them out in a cross pattern. I would chose a different color pallet for my house, but the idea is lovely.

Nearly Crafty shows how to make these photo bookmarks. What a great present for grandparents and such.
