Well, here we are at another finale. I decided to do a mini-collection like Justin, Helen and Alexandria had to show to make it to Fashion Week. I also did one look with unconventional materials like all the designers were instructed to do.
The inspiration for my collection was Fantasy or Dreams.
Though the looks are all different I think there is a cohesiveness to the collection. Let’s look at each look on its own.
This is the unconventional materials look. The top of the dress is made from a gift wrapping ribbon and the skirt is all feathers. I know feathers aren’t that unconventional in fashion, but they aren’t fabric. I think this is a fun flirty little number and I can see some starlet wearing it. My one worry is that is might read a little lingerie.
The next look is a gown done in a print I used a couple times this season. It has a mermaid shape, but the bottom is created by a pillow of black taffeta. The top is one sleeved and that sleeve has an interesting pleating detail. It’s a sleek body-conscious look with a little something extra.
Finally, I sent down a marshmallow cloud of a wedding dress. A short, white strapless dress is topped with billows of taffeta giving it a dream-like quality. The skirt is large, but because it is see-through and the dress underneath is formfitting, it does not make the wearer look larger. A wide silver waist band helps give the dress a lot of shape.
It has been another fun season of Project Project Runway. I hope you all have fun watching and will thinking of participating next time!

I love how you could find a print that is so in scale with doll proportions! Nice collection.
Love all three. The accessories work well with each outfit. You could add leggings or bellbottoms to the short black feather dress. I like it and can see it worn with a added under skirt.
