Challenge – Shoes First
A very straightforward challenge this week. Pick a pair of shoes and design a look to go with them. The designers chose from the Marie Claire closet, but for PPR you can chose from anywhere on the internet or pick a pair of shoes from your own closet and photograph them. Make sure to show us your shoes!

Budget – $25

Time Limit – 12 hours

Accessories – Choose your other accessories from the Belk accessory wall.

Runway Day – Runway day is Thursday, September 5th.
Just a reminder only in-progress photos should be posted to the Flickr group before Runway Day. Save the big reveal for next Thursday. Please tag your photos with PPR7 and ProjectProjectRunway.

Now some thoughts on this week’s episode (if you haven’t watched yet you may not want to read further.)
This episode was a bit of a bore. The really tried to make the whole two people doing plaid pants into a big drama, yawn. Personally, I think Alexander’s plaid pants outfit was a little more modern and fashion-forward. (Apparently the judges did too.)

Nothing made me gasp on the runway this week, either because it was stunning or because it was so awful. I thought a lot of things seemed pretty middle of the road this week. I didn’t hate anything as much as the judges did, but I also didn’t love any of the things they did as much. Ok, Bradon’s outfit was pretty bad. Actually, for me it was a toss up on whether he or Miranda should have gone home in my view. As for the winning look, it was sleek, but like the rest of this episode a bit of a yawn. What did you think?
