Free Pattern – The Golden Snitch

I made this pattern for the Golden Snitch up a few movies ago for a store window but realized I had never shared it you all until someone asked for it recently on Flickr..
Harry Potter Scarf & Golden Snitch
Now this snitch won’t be flying off anywhere soon but it looks cute hanging by some fishing wire from a ceiling or lamp.

The Golden Snitch
Inspired by the Harry Potter books & movies
Golden Snitch

Four size 5 double pointed needles
Size 5 straight needles (or just use two of your double pointed ones)

Gauge is not important on this project just get a tight stitch to hold the stuffing in.

    • Thanks for sharing! I already made the HP book-scarf, will definitely knit the Golden Snitch, too, maybe also as a book mark with a braided cord , and it could “live” in a HP book in the book shelf. Will think about this! Your picture also reminded me that I had so much wanted to knit a Griffyndor scarf but never got around. Cold season’s coming again…
